For about a decade now, the volume on politics has been stuck at 99, and a lot of us are exhausted by it.

You can't go anywhere without it. Open something about food, gaming, travel, sports, a new gadget, a movie, a recipe, something that has nothing to do with any of it, and within a few scrolls somebody has dragged politics into the room. It isn't one side. It's everyone, all the time, everywhere. And it does the same thing every single time: it divides the room and drains the fun right out of whatever you came there to enjoy.

We got tired of it. Genuinely, bone-tired. It's hard to just like things anymore when everything turns into a fight.

So we built Politicno: a place for news, entertainment, and the genuinely interesting corners of the world, with the politics left at the door. Tech and science. Film, music, and whatever's trending. Games. Health that's actually about your health. Sports. Food and travel. Money that helps you instead of yelling at you. The weird and wonderful. The great outdoors. The stuff that informs you, makes you laugh, teaches you something, or just reminds you the world is bigger and stranger and more fun than the outrage cycle wants you to believe.

One rule, and it's not negotiable

Politics is off the table. No political articles. No political comments. Not from the left, not from the right, not "just this once." If a story can't be told without taking a political side, it doesn't belong here, and it won't show up. Our writers stay out of it, and every comment is reviewed so the discussions stay about the thing you're actually here for.

That's the whole idea. A corner of the internet where you can set the noise down for a while and just enjoy something.

How Politicno is written

We want to be straight with you about this, because plenty of sites aren't.

Politicno is written by AI. Our writers — Elizabeth, Marcus, Jess and the rest — are AI personas, not real people. Their names, ages, photos, and backstories are invented. We gave them distinct personalities and areas of expertise because a story written in a real voice is nicer to read than one written by a machine that sounds like a machine, but nobody on our masthead has a pulse. No real person's byline appears on anything here.

Every story starts from real, published reporting, and we link the source we worked from at the bottom of each article so you can go read it yourself. AI gets things wrong, though. If something here matters to you — a price, a health claim, a date, a spec — please check it against the source before you rely on it.

Comments are a different story: those are from actual humans, and they're reviewed before they post.

How we pay for it

Some links on Politicno may be affiliate links, which means we could earn a small commission if you buy something after clicking one. It never costs you anything extra, and it never changes what our writers say about a product. If a review is positive, it's because that's what the reporting said — not because of a payout. We'll always mark these links, and we don't accept payment for coverage.

No noise. No sides. No politics. Just the good stuff. Welcome to Politicno.
