Apple TV walked into Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend and just... unloaded. like, a pile of announcements big enough that I'm still sorting through everything. but the big one? Neuromancer finally has a streaming date.

The adaptation of William Gibson's cyberpunk novel hits Apple TV Plus on January 22, 2027. if you know the book you know how massive this is. If you don't, it's basically the blueprint for the entire genre. Hackers, megacorporations, neon cities bleeding into digital space... the whole aesthetic that's literally everywhere now. straight up it's the one everything else traces back to.

The panel also gave fans a look at what else is coming. Apple's sci-fi lineup is getting stacked and this slate just adds to it.

You can check out all the announcements over at 9to5Mac, including more details on the Hall H panel.

I feel like Neuromancer alone is the kind of swing that either becomes the next big sci-fi show people won't shut up about, or a fascinating mess. either way I'll be watching on January 22.
