Does this unit have a soul? Hard to say. It does have a price tag and a shipping window, and in 2026 that might be the closest thing we get to new Mass Effect. Dark Horse Direct has listed a Legion collectible that's up for pre-order now, shipping in late 2026.

The geth platform with a hole shot clean through it remains one of the most beloved party members BioWare ever wrote, and honestly the merch picks write themselves. A statue of Legion mid-"we are many" energy is exactly the kind of thing that ends up on a shelf next to the Normandy models. Per Softonic's coverage, the figure is listed for late 2026 delivery, so if you're the type who pre-orders collectibles, the window is open.

One caveat worth repeating, since Softonic flagged it too: don't confuse this with Mass Effect 5, or whatever BioWare eventually calls the next mainline game. That still doesn't exist in any playable form. We've had teasers, concept art, the occasional cryptic N7 Day nod, but the actual game is still in the "it's happening, trust us" phase. So a physical Legion on your desk in late 2026 is, for now, the only new Mass Effect content arriving on anything like a schedule.

There's a long tradition of this, to be fair. The Mass Effect fanbase has kept itself fed on statues, art books and remaster playthroughs for years while waiting on a sequel. I've got guildmates who've replayed the Legendary Edition three times since it dropped. One of them runs a whole Discord channel just for N7 Day speculation, and every year the channel goes quiet around November, because nobody wants to get hurt again.

The Dark Horse Direct route also means this is a direct-to-consumer release, which usually means limited runs and no second printing once it sells through. If Legion's your favorite, order early rather than paying scalper prices on eBay in 2027. That's just how the collectible game works now.

So yes, pre-order the robot. Dream about the game. And if you've got a Legion story from your ME2 playthrough, the one where you kept him loyal right up through the ending, you already know that statue's going to hit a little harder than most.
