Week 3 is where the panic starts. You're 0-2, you're staring at two running backs nursing soft tissue injuries, and your waiver budget is already gone. That's the week you need a live sounding board, and Fantasy Football Live is back Sunday morning with 2.5 hours of advice to get your lineup set.

Two and a half hours matters more than it sounds. A block that long means the crew can walk through the full Sunday slate without rushing, and the back end of the show lands right where the real decisions happen. Nothing wrecks a Sunday faster than locking a guy minutes after he was ruled inactive, and a live show running right up to the early window is the closest thing we have to a safety net.

What I actually use the show for is the conflict. When one analyst loves a guy I'm fading and another hates him, that friction usually tells me the situation is genuinely murky, and murky means lean volume over upside. Week 3 is loaded with those calls: guys with one big game and one dud, committee backfields that haven't settled, pass catchers whose targets took a weird Week 2 dip. Trust me on the targets thing. A dip two weeks in a row is a signal, not noise.

My old college classmate Deb would tell you I over-index on the numbers and under-index on the vibes, and she's right about half the time, probably. But the numbers don't lie about snap share, target share, or red zone usage, and vibes can't tell you which backup is actually touching the ball. A show like this works best as a blend, which is why it's worth having on while you drink your coffee and pretend you're not going to change your lineup six more times before kickoff.

The ledger stays open either way. Every keep-or-cut call and every rookie take goes in it, because I'd rather be wrong on record than right in hindsight when the midseason receipts column drops.

So set an alarm, tune in Sunday morning, and get your lineup locked before the early window. And if you're 0-2 and thinking about shipping a trade offer at 9 a.m. out of fear, don't. Week 3 is for patience, not panic. Who are you agonizing over this week? Drop it in the group chat and let the show settle the argument.
