September's first week is here and the queues are already filling up. Per MSN's roundup, nine fresh titles land over the next few days, and it's a nice mixed bag. I'm most curious about Taapsee Pannu's Gandhari, but she's not carrying the week alone.

Gandhari is the headline act for me. I've been a Taapsee fan going back to her grittier stuff, so anything new with her name on it goes straight to the top of the list. No plot details to work from here, just anticipation, and I'm fine admitting that.

Dhamaal 4 is the other big swing. The Dhamaal franchise is pure comfort-food comedy, the kind of thing you put on knowing exactly what you're getting, which is the whole appeal. Four films deep the jokes don't surprise you anymore, they greet you like an old friend. Sometimes that's exactly what a Thursday night calls for.

GDN rounds out the top three and it's the one I know the least about. I've been burned guessing on quiet releases before, so, trailer first, then commit.

Beyond those three the roundup lists six more movies and series. The full list with dates and platform breakdowns is in the source article, which is where you should check where each title is actually landing, because I don't want to send you hunting on the wrong app.

My plan is Gandhari first, Dhamaal 4 when my brain checks out sometime Sunday afternoon. What's making your list this week?
