Job Simulator is getting a new co-op entry, and it's leaving VR behind. The chaotic workplace comedy from Owlchemy Labs is back as Job Simulator: Human Relations, a flat-screen co-op physics game from FarBridge, developed under license from Owlchemy. The announcement trailer is exactly the unhinged office energy you'd expect.

According to the trailer over on IGN, Human Relations shifts the series off VR and onto regular screens. And honestly that pivot is so interesting to me. The original Job Simulator was one of those defining VR experiences, the game you'd hand your friend who just bought a headset and watch them giggle for an hour. Taking that and making it flat-screen co-op means way more people can jump in together, no headset required.

FarBridge is developing under official license, so this is the real deal. The Job Simulator DNA is right there in the name and the tone, and the trailer shows physics objects flying everywhere, coworkers colliding, tasks going spectacularly wrong. The co-op angle is what has me excited though. Physics comedy games hit different when you're laughing with another person. We've all been in that co-op session where someone accidentally throws the wrong item across the room and the whole plan falls apart in seconds. That chaos is the entire appeal.

The game already has a live Kickstarter and a Steam page, so if you want to follow development closely, those are your spots. Co-op physics comedy on flat screens with the Job Simulator name attached, that's a party game waiting to happen. My Discord server is already ready.
