The ratings drip continues. NBA 2K27 is live in early access, and now we've got the full Golden State Warriors board, courtesy of MSN's rundown. And the top of the list is no surprise: Steph Curry is still the headliner in the Bay.

Curry leads the Warriors with a 93 overall, and that number tells you 2K still considers him one of the very best players in the league. This isn't a legacy rating or some farewell tour gift. A 93 means every off-ball curl and every late-clock heat check is going to feel like the Curry we know. Jimmy Butler sits behind him at an 85, and that one-two punch is basically the whole identity of this roster in game form. You're running pick and rolls with those two and building everything else around them.

The rest of the rotation fills in behind the stars, and as always the shooter ratings will start the arguments in the group chat, because shooter ratings in 2K always do. For the deeper numbers, the full player-by-player list is in the source rundown linked above.

I've said this with every team rollout this week, the Hornets, the Rockets, OKC: overall ratings are a snapshot, not a verdict. An 85 with good shooting badges plays way better than an 87 with none. The meta lives in the badges and tendencies, and those don't fully surface until the community gets days of hands-on time. Early access just started, so give it a week before anyone declares a player unplayable.

If you're grinding MyLeague or playing Warriors fans online this weekend, the formula is simple: Curry off-ball movement, Butler in the mid-post, and pray your help defense rotates fast enough to survive. Some things don't change no matter the year on the box.

Drop me your squad's ratings if you've booted up early access. I want to know if anyone's fanbase is more mad than Rockets fans were about the KD ordering.
