spooky season is officially loading and Disney+ knows exactly what it's doing. The streamer just dropped its release list for September 28 through October 4 and the big one is the new witchcraft series Agatha. ComingSoon has the full schedule if you wanna see everything coming.

ok full disclosure, I was a little worn out on the whole witch thing for a minute there. Every streamer was greenlighting something with candles and pointed hats and most of it was mid. But something about this one has people talking, and a witchy lead show dropping the first week of October is just... correct timing. Like that's the whole calendar slot, that's literally what October is for. I'm in.

The rest of the week is the usual Disney+ grab bag, so check the full schedule at the link for everything. Nothing else on there jumps out at me the same way this week tbh, but that's just my read, your mileage may vary. October fills up with spooky drops this time of year and I'd bet Disney is saving its ammo.

Also can we talk about how good Disney+ is at October, at least in my house? My whole thing is turning the service into a comfort food streamer once fall hits. My watchlist right now is 90 percent stuff I've already seen and that's... the point actually. seasonal rewatch szn.

Anyway. Light a candle, phone on do not disturb, settle in. I'll be back next week with whatever else lands, and if Agatha fumbles this I will absolutely say so. you know I don't sugarcoat.
