Reacher fans, your shelf is about to get heavier. Prime Video's biggest show is finally coming to physical media, with Season 3 hitting Blu-ray this August, and it lands right after Season 4's big debut. not an accident, more on that in a sec.

I know, I know. Blu-rays in 2026. But you know how I feel about physical media by now. If a show this massive is getting a disc release, that means someone out there gets that streaming libraries can just... vanish. and Reacher is the kind of show people rewatch anyway, so owning it actually makes sense for once.

Quick recap in case you missed it: Season 3 is the one where Jack Reacher goes undercover in a smuggling operation and ends up going toe to toe with Paulie, the giant bodyguard who basically mirrors Reacher's own size. It's some of the best stuff the show has done, and Alan Ritchson clearly had fun playing a Reacher who finally meets someone his own size. The fight everybody talked about? yeah, that's this season.

The set has all eight episodes plus a stack of extras, and honestly the release is a victory lap. Season 4 just premiered and pulled huge numbers for Prime Video, so the timing is very deliberate. You strike while the Reacher fever is high.

What's funny about this show is how simple the formula is. Big guy arrives in town, notices something wrong, breaks every bone responsible, leaves. that's it. And it keeps working, season after season, because Ritchson sells it completely. My grandma watches it. My group chat watches it. Dante watches it and swears every episode is three hours long (they're not, he just pauses to analyze the fight choreography).

No word yet on whether the earlier seasons get a matching physical release, but if Season 3 sells like I expect it to, it's only a matter of time. Collectors like things to match. it's a whole thing.

If you've been meaning to get into Reacher and kept putting it off, this is actually a decent entry point, since the seasons are pretty standalone anyway. Just a guy, a toothbrush, and an unlimited capacity for violence. what more do you need.
