It's Friday, which means my couch and I have some negotiating to do. There's genuinely something for everyone this weekend, and Yahoo's weekend roundup runs down the big three, so let me hand you the menu.

The headliner is Practical Magic 2, finally in theaters after years of fans begging for it. If you've got any affection for the 1998 original, and I know a lot of you do because that movie never left the cultural bloodstream, this is the one worth leaving the house for. Midnight margaritas beforehand are between you and your conscience.

Staying in? One Night Only lands on VOD this weekend. It's the kind of movie the theatrical calendar barely makes room for anymore, the kind you rent, pair with a decent dinner, and have a perfectly nice night with. Sometimes that's the whole job.

Over on HBO Max, Supergirl is streaming. Slept on it? This is your sign. Blue suit, big screen energy, no pants required on your end.

But let me pull you aside for a second. Don't sleep on Runner, the Owen Wilson and Alan Ritchson buddy action-comedy that's also in theaters right now. The Yahoo piece calls it a crowd-pleaser, and that tracks with everything I've heard. Owen Wilson doing comedy next to explosions is a flavor I didn't know I was missing until it showed up. If the sequel route doesn't grab you, this is the sneaky good pick of the weekend.

So that's the board. Witches on the big screen, a rental for the couch, a caped hero waiting on HBO Max, and two very likable guys causing problems in Runner.

My rule stands, as always. Don't save any of these for some perfect evening that never comes. Watch what's calling to you tonight. The rest will wait, or they won't, and either way you had a good movie night.

What are you actually watching this weekend? If it's Practical Magic 2, I need a full report on the margarita situation.
