Another Friday, another pile of options. This weekend splits cleanly into two lanes, stuff you leave the house for and stuff you watch in sweatpants. I've got picks in both, per the lineup over at Yahoo Entertainment, and a couple of them I've actually been waiting on.

The big screen first. You Can See Everything arrives with good word of mouth, and when a title like that shows up in October with people saying nice things, you go now rather than wait for streaming and half-remember it in March. Then there's Whalefall, which I mentioned a few weeks back when that trailer dredged up every uncomfortable open-water memory I have. It's finally in theaters. I will watch it. I will watch it through my fingers, which is my own problem and I've made peace with it.

If you missed Practical Magic 2 in theaters, it's now available to rent or buy at home, which might be the ideal format for it anyway. The original was a cable-television comfort movie for a reason. You want a blanket, you want Sandra Bullock energy on your own couch, you don't want a teenager kicking your seat. Bullock and Nicole Kidman are both back for the sequel, so that part I can confirm.

On the pure streaming side, Love of Your Life lands on Prime Video. I keep saying this, but Prime drops half its originals with zero promotion and good titles just vanish before anyone notices they arrived. So consider this me noticing. It's there. Watch it before the algorithm buries it.

My weekend plan, if you want to copy my homework: Whalefall in a theater Friday night, Practical Magic 2 rented Saturday with takeout, and Love of Your Life Sunday depending on how the football games go. Jess keeps telling me I schedule my weekends like a retiree. She's not wrong.

What are you actually watching this weekend? If it's the whale one, sit near the aisle.
