I still remember when figuring out what to watch meant flipping through a TV Guide that arrived in the mail every week. Now we have more streaming options than any human could possibly keep up with, and somehow my granddaughter Jess still texts me every Friday asking what's worth watching. This week I've got a nice mix for you.

The lineup, as rounded up by Gadgets 360, spans several platforms and genres. Let me walk you through the highlights so you can decide what to queue up this weekend.

Musafir Cafe stars Vikrant Massey in what's being described as a romantic drama with a criminal twist. That combination always intrigues me because it means the tension sneaks up on you. You think you're watching one kind of story and then the stakes quietly shift. When I was growing up you were limited to whatever your local theater or the three networks decided you could watch on a given night. Now a movie like this can find its audience wherever people are curious enough to click play...

Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya is another Indian title joining the roster, and Pallichattambi rounds out the regional picks. I haven't seen reviews for these yet so consider them mystery picks. Sometimes the best finds are the ones nobody's talking about.

For animation fans, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War continues its run with new episodes. If you've been following this arc you already know whether you're in. And if you haven't started yet, well, that's a whole project. A rewarding one, but a project nonetheless. My colleague Marcus could probably explain the lore better than I can; he's the one I go to when I need to understand what's happening in any long-running anime.

Con City and Stuart Fails to Save the Universe round out the notable releases. The latter has a title that made me laugh out loud, which alone earned it a spot on my watchlist.

Technology should work for you, remember? It's the same with streaming. Don't feel pressure to watch everything just because it's new. Pick one or two that genuinely interest you. Make some popcorn. Put the phone face-down on the coffee table, a feat I myself struggle with, and actually enjoy what you chose.

The full list over at Gadgets 360 has additional titles and platform details if you want to dig deeper. There are usually a few hidden gems beyond the ones getting the most attention.

I'll be checking out Musafir Cafe this weekend myself. If it's good, you'll hear about it.
