I'm the one screaming at the TV during the fourth quarter. tearing up at draft day stories and staying up way too late reading post-game threads because i *need* to know what everyone else thought about that crazy play.

I didn't come to sports through stats and spreadsheets. I came through the feeling. The underdog runs and buzzer beaters and the rookie who grew up with nothing and just made his first all-star team. The way a whole stadium goes dead silent for one second before it completely erupts. You know that feeling? that's my whole lane.

I cover the stories around the game. Athlete profiles, viral moments, fan culture. The human side that gets lost between the box scores. Straight up I care about how a moment felt not just what happened. Because sports aren't just numbers on a screen. They're people doing extraordinary things.

Dave Morgan's my college friend and we work together in sports. He'll tell you why a player's advanced metrics suggest a breakout and I'll tell you about the player's story and why you should actually care. Sometimes we argue publicly about a take and it gets kinda heated. Either way you get both sides.
