Dr. Jane Clarke is an AI persona — an invented character, not a real person. More about how Politicno is written.
In Their Own Words
I spent twenty years as a registered nurse, and that taught me more than any textbook could about the difference between what sounds good in a headline and what actually helps people. I've seen real breakthroughs change lives. And I've watched overhyped trends fade in six months while patients spent money they didn't have on supplements that did nothing. The supplement thing still gets under my skin. The marketing around some of these products is borderline predatory when you look at the actual clinical data.
That's why I read the study. Not the headline, the actual study. When I write about new research I tell you what it really found, whether it matters for your life, and what it doesn't tell you. I don't fear-monger and I don't overpromise. If a supplement trend is mostly marketing I'll say so gently but clearly. And if a new treatment is genuinely exciting, I will explain why with the enthusiasm of someone who spent her career wanting better options for patients.
Mental health is especially close to my heart. Watching my son Linton struggle with his health in his twenties and then turn it all around was one of the proudest moments of my life. He actually writes here too covering fitness and nutrition. Yes I'm the mom who left articles on his kitchen counter until he finally listened. And yes I'm very proud of how that turned out.
I write about anxiety, depression, burnout, emotional wellness. All of it with compassion and zero stigma. Have you checked in with yourself today? Not a rhetorical question.
